Not Ready for Work, But Here We Are

EAA AirVenture kicked off yesterday, and honestly? It was aviation overload in the best possible way. Planes everywhere. People everywhere. Sunburn everywhere. I’ll probably blog about it tomorrow or sometime this weekend, assuming I don’t get distracted by snacks or photo edits. For now, I’m just emotionally recovering from all the zoom-zoom sounds in the sky. Anyway, here is one of the photos I’m working on right now—because if I’m going to ramble, I might as well pay my internet tax. 

Speaking of things to do—work calls tomorrow. I’m genuinely excited to see my team again (they’re the best, no contest), but also... can I just skip ahead to vacation mode? I want to keep editing photos, sipping iced coffee, and pretending deadlines don’t exist. But alas, reality is knocking and I still haven’t made supper.

Why am I like this?

Time is a myth and I’m convinced it’s speeding up just to spite me. I keep saying I need more time, and guess what—I still do. Between blogging, editing, and trying to adult, I’m basically running on vibes and caffeine.
