I have always been fascinated by airplanes, and I've always wanted to see the Warbirds since I was a kid. A big part of it is my Grandpa telling me WWII stories (he was born in 1907!) and it really peaked my interest. I've taken great interest in the B2 Bomber and F117-A. When the F117 was replaced by the F22, I was really thrilled - but never would I have thought at the time that I would see it in person, up close, and even capture it's majestic beauty.

I'm sure that a lot of us have this struggle! It's 12:04 a.m. as I start typing - I should be in bed, I have a lot of work to do, but here I am pondering on random thoughts and finally blogging. Lot of things to catch up on. I recent got my hands on some new art materials and have already painted a few pieces, which I am very happy with. I want to post them now but my brain says, no - you have to wait and post about the art and the paints...
We know how that goes, I procrastinate and that never happens. So many thoughts, so litter time! Anyways, here's a vain selfie for photo tax.
There are some places that you just have to keep going back to. This time, we're back with more family!
If there is one thing that I'm missing the most every summer, it's the ocean. I now live in Wisconsin, and I'm right in the middle of the U.S. and the closest beach is really either coasts, because, well we're right in the middle. However, there are a lot of beautiful lake beaches locally - and this time we visited this wonderful, little spot that was introduced to me a couple years ago by my friend.
South Park Beach is located in Waupaca, Wisconsin - about 40 minutes away from Oshkosh. The beach is part of Shadow Lake, surrounded by beautiful nature and landscapes. What I really like about this place is that it's quite... small. It's not a huge attraction, it's relaxing, and even if there are crowded summer days, it's still peaceful in comparison to mainstream ocean beaches.
