Oh yaaas it finally happened! Alright, well it happened last week but I'm still as happy as I was after I left the salon!
I finally achieved that level of ash blonde!
My hair is dark brown with very fine strands. I've always loved coloring my hair and I actually started when I was 11 years old. My mom let me go to a salon and had my hair colored burgundy. I was really happy and it felt really... good. Most Asian hair is very dark (like mine) but also have very thick strands.

I did it, I finally caved in!
So, if you're on an social media especially in Facebook or Instagram, I'm almost certain that you've heard the trend of putting on faux freckles. It's been around for a while and it's kind of interested me for a bit, but never really had that urge to do it... until a few weeks ago. I recently just reactivated my subscription for BoxyCharm and their Pop-up opened up last month. If you haven't heard of BoxyCharm or not familiar with it, I'll be doing a review of my next Premium Box! Anyways, so - I saw this faux freckle pen and included it in my Pop-up order. Thing is, they don't ship their pop up and I was starting to get impatient. A few days ago, I was doing my usual online-window-shopping and stumbled upon some YouTube videos showing how to put freckles using henna. Now, that got me thinking so I originally planned to get those henna cones off Amazon. But then, what if I don't even like how I'd look with freckles right? I don't want anything semi permanent. I was starting to really get impatient for the Pop-up items so there - I got this pair from Amazon!
As we approach the colder season, I'm getting ahead of myself and am pretty excited for magical snow!
I've been doing my nails myself and realized I get to do what I want, collect nail polish and art stuff, and still save money compared to going to the salon. Obviously, it's not as professional - like me struggling with my cuticles, I still have a lot of fun doing my nails because it's not really beauty but more of art.
I love glitters and sparkly things. Most definitely. Yus.
That being said, I love getting my nails done! It's relaxing, it feels good, but it also comes with a price. Maintaining your nails can get quite pricey. To some, it's one of their priorities so splurging on it every few weeks isn't a big deal. For someone like me to likes to spend on many different things and can't seem to make up my mind whether I should buy new shoes, get a massage or just get some home decor - it's a bit of a toss up. Aside from the ultimate indecisiveness, there's also the fact that I like to collect literally anything and everything and I love art. So then, let's make art! I dipped into the world of dip nails. |
