I never really thought I would be one to say that I now find my entire happiness at home. Then, the cliche comes along and it's quite hard to deny this saying...
Home is where the heart is.
It may be one of the most used up quotes, but I have to admit that it really couldn't be more accurate. See, I always craved adventure and going out in my younger years. During that time, there was a also a vast, empty void that I was trying to fill. I was out and about, finding ways to keep the happiness going. As an adult, I understand this more - it's like an addiction, I needed to go out and do something for dopamine. My happiness was temporary, I had to keep it going.
I am truly grateful for where I am now. My home life may not be lavish, my house doesn't have the white picket fence, and my husband and I both work hard to make ends meet - but it's fulfilling. Having our puppies, our other pets, my hobbies, and of course my best friend Bear. I know we can get through the ups and downs of life.

Winter came late, but dang it's cold!
It usually starts to get pretty cold by the end of November, and snow usually picks up by that time and heavy snow starts by mid to late December - that is, at least, in my experience being here in Wisconsin the last eight years. I had a family photo shoot scheduled for December 10th last year, and I had to reschedule it because surprisingly there was no snow.
The snow came mid-January, and oh the boys are happy! Well, Ein is happy but I don't know about Hans. He does not like the rain or the cold, but ironically he loves swimming and the snow. Weird pup.
Finally, the weekend! Still not feeling 100% great, but we're getting there. So thankful I work from home and don't have to do manual labor, but the brain is also not at its finest so it could be draining. Perks of WFH - I'm gross and stinky, but can still go to work. Non-perks of WFH - I'm gross and stinky and still have to go to work. I'm pretty much behind everything I want to get done, but I think pushing myself during work days and barely sleeping definitely kicked my immune system to the garbage.

Before we move forward, the puppers wanted to share some love ♥
