Four years and 10 days ago marks the exact date when I crashed on my Kawasaki Z125. It's not as bad as it sounds, but I have never ridden through the Breezewood Lane roundabout on a bike. For a long time, even as a passenger, that place always made me feel uncomfortable. I felt pathetic, it's not like I lost a limp or broke my whole body but it was rough.
Well then, yesterday I conquered that fear. For the first time in four years, I rode through the Breezewood Lane roundabout - no sudden brakes, no panic... just ride!

There are some places that you just have to keep going back to. This time, we're back with more family!
There is chaos that hides behind the rainbow.
I always do my best to look at the bright side of things and see the positive results amid whatever is seemingly going wrong. Some people might think I'm extra #YouGotThis #Positivity and all that - but there's definitely a reason. Today, I choose to share a little bit more on what's behind my positivity rainbow.
I decided to paint something today. While abstract is my favorite style of paintings, I rarely do it myself. Typically I use watercolor and paint nature. I decided to play some modern violin music and got my new easel ready for use. Today I painted this piece I call, "The Storm in my Head".
I probably should've said this last week but it's officially fall! The leaves have turned, snicker doodle is in the air, the wind is chilly - it's absolutely lovely! This is also the time of year when I hoard the autumn scents from Bath and Body Works because not gonna lie, it's my scent all year round. It's also time for family photos! Had some new family photos taken, and actually the first time we're able to do fall pictures. Really excited and glad we got it scheduled just in time. We were introduced to this small park/trail in town that I never knew about. It's actually a very small place, but it's very pretty especially for a small family session.
This season also signals the start and end of certain things.
Finally, the weekend! Still not feeling 100% great, but we're getting there. So thankful I work from home and don't have to do manual labor, but the brain is also not at its finest so it could be draining. Perks of WFH - I'm gross and stinky, but can still go to work. Non-perks of WFH - I'm gross and stinky and still have to go to work. I'm pretty much behind everything I want to get done, but I think pushing myself during work days and barely sleeping definitely kicked my immune system to the garbage.
