Happy 4th and Puppy Photoshoot

Maybe it's a little late, but here we go...

HAPPY 4TH!

The puppy photoshoot was a little bit of a struggle. I didn't really plan any of this but I wanted to do a little bit of puppy celebration. We spent pretty much the whole day with Bear and his mom. It was a great day, he finally took her on a ride on the new bike but it was a bit short lived because it rained. I made my ribs, I think I will make it official that I'm the rib-bearer lol. For some reason I really enjoy making ribs so I think that's something I'll be sharing soon.

We made it a point to get home before dark so we can spend the day with the pups and make sure they're not freaking out during the fireworks. I'm actually pretty proud of Hans, he's getting a lot more better! Well, he's no longer scared of the fireworks - just a tiny bit. He's now more angry at the fireworks. I find it pretty odd, but he sure is angry. He's also angry at thunder so now we know. Boom-booms + Hans = angry dog and many barks.

While Hans is set on barking his lungs out and then sleeping and snacking, then resume barking, Ein is another odd ball and the complete opposite. I tell you, Ein the fearless spent a good five minutes watching fireworks. While Hans refuses to confront his boom-related anger issues, Ein decided to go outside, stand on the porch and watch the fireworks in awe. These babies never cease to amaze me.

Anyways, Hans did a good job even if he refused to get on the bed so I can take a photo of him and Ein together. He as too busy guarding us from boom-booms but he wore his headband just fine. ​

Ein... well this is a different kind of struggle....

This would've been a really good one tho, if it wasn't that blurry... but hey I think he has some skills!

The night ended well with happy puppies cuddling with us getting ready for the next day. Not too bad. I do miss the fireworks but I don't regret being here full of love.
