That Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Things can still get magical ♥

I don't think I previously mentioned it yet, but Bear was laid off at the end of November due to the pandemic. It's truly unfortunate, especially that we just bought a home. Thankfully, there's already a lot of back up assistance for people affected by the pandemic so I was able to postpone some bills. That being said, things are a little tight with just my income and savings. It really sucks because I don't think I would be able to buy gifts and all.

Now, now - that doesn't mean Christmas is over right? Great things still happen and I know this is just a challenge. So let's get on with the magic!

Welcome home Ein Pup!

Ein pup fell asleep after he got tired from his little cries. It broke my heart, I'm sure he misses his siblings and mommy Jewel. But he's in good hands ♥

Our Christmas puppy is finally coming home! We picked him up from Platteville, WI and ope, we're so close to Iowa! I really wish we drove all the way there... just because you know, I've never been to another state other than Illinois. But oh well, it was already a three hour drive so time to bring this little bean home.

I waited so long for this and I'm so excited for Hans! He's not expecting this but I;ve always seen how happy he gets playing with other pups and crying when he sees other dogs when we're out for a ride. Now Hans gets his own little puppy!​

What else am I loving? My new hat from Spirit Hoods! They use faux fur and they have so many stuff I like. The price isn't so bad relative to the style, but I'm not rich and it's still a bit steep so I think I'll hold off on the coat (or maybe make my own???). Either way, this hat is so warm and comfy, I need like 10 more.

Other  Yule Updates...

I have to admit, the recent changes in life did kinda affect me to an extent. I didn't really feel like putting up the tree and decorating it so much so I held off on that too. Bear found some really cool Yule goats as we actually prefer to celebrate Yule!

I think Hans and the Yule Goats also match lol

Well I guess that's it for today. It's been a long day and frankly, I'm quite very happy! There will be more good things to come :)
