Happy Sunday!
Tomorrow's yet another Monday. Booooooooooooo. I've been thinking a little bit about my blog - and it's honestly a continuation of the Kimi Goes Places. This was my old blog about travel and make up, it was doing quite okay until the Photobucket fiasco happened and I had to shut it down. When I first started, I was in my early 20's - still a girl at heart, trying out random things in life, care free, independent, stupid at times, it was all fun! Now in my 30's, as much as I hate to admit that yes I am a geriatric millennial, I guess it's no longer fitting to still think I'm that girl lost with a camera. I mean, I'm still lost here and there but the tagline is getting old. Throw me in another side of town and I find myself driving in a loop. But then I think it's more fitting that I am now you're Tita (Auntie)
It took me a moment to accept the fact that I'm not getting any younger and battling these fine lines on my forehead may only be solved by Botox. Well I'm embracing this dinosaur era and I think there will be some updates on myself as well.
While I'm accepting the dino-Tita phase, I'm still me so I'm obviously still not giving up on my hoard of stuff toys, glitter, sparkly stuff and whatever other things they deem childish. It's one thing I'm actually proud of, being a millennial, is that we grow up but we don't have to grow up.
I remember growing up, we were taught some things are meant to be just for children like anime, toys, fun colored stuff. It's like we were always told as you get older, things have to be serious and dull. It's not for adults to wear bold colors or do own dolls and what not. It's like, to be an adult, you have to be seriously prim and proper.
Ironically, we proved it all wrong because we're the generation that took these fun childish things to a whole new level and here we are. So - I am the Tita who is probably too old for Tiktok and whatever other things kids do but I'll remain the whatever me that I am.
